Chow Houndby jaysonmcComment: Man, I can't believe I missed this one during that challenge! It's brilliant! Terribly under-scrored of course. Going into my favs though! 8o) |

Death's ups and downsby TimbroComment: Beautiful use of rhythm and leading lines. The bouquet is a perfect accent for the image and couldn't have been placed better. Lighting and long shadows sets a brilliant mood and it actualy works quite well in color. This is a winning image too me! 9! 8o) |

Where The Life Starts And Endedby unicumComment: This is really beautiful and I never thought a shell could evoke such emotive impact! You've done and astounding job with this image and I think it's perfectly fitting for the challenge. It is so refreshing to see photos of the subtlies of life that most would never notice and have it captured so beautifully! Fantastic job! My first 10 for this challene. 8o) |

Death Roomby flavsComment: This is a very moving image, but perhaps the subject could have used a slight bit more strategic lighting to balance the bright window light. It really draws my eye away from the subject. |

"Day of the Dead" - November 1by sfaliceComment: Dia de los muertes! Very fitting idea to represent this challenge. The only thing that bothers me is the composition of the candles. Seems like the images might have been stronger if they acted as leading lines toward the skull. Just a thought! Well done! 8o) |

Afternoon at Devil\'s Den, Gettysburg.by 64vikingComment: This would have been nice for the sky challenge as well! Nice sillohette! At first glance, it's slightly cryptic though. Without the title, I don't know if it's clear that I'm looking at a grave site. I really do like the clouded background though! |

Un-Freshby UrfaKComment: This is nicely done! The contrast between the dead and dying works well, and then the green and thriving just behind really accentuates the rotten banana. I like this a lot! It is simple and clean and meets the challenge well without being too shrill. Well done! 8o) |
