A had a couple of ideas in my head, but unfortunately ran out of time to implement any of these.

Tried a couple of candle things, but that seemed a bit cliche.
Figured I would try with my backup subjects, my dogs.

Had several takes, but this was the best in that at least the paw is steady.

Stuff behind the dog, is from my other dog who was eating at the time. Probably should have moved her bowl to make this a cleaner picture.

Not expecting much, most likely in the 4.8 range. The more I look at it, the more I actually like the result.

5:15 pm. Light from the front door was the only light.

Man, I can't believe I missed this one during that challenge! It's brilliant! Terribly under-scrored of course. Going into my favs though! 8o)

very creative, only thing I might change would be to remove the towel under the dish.

William Wegman would be proud of you. I know how hard it is to take a picture like this and keep it from just looking like a blob of fuzz. This is haunting and beautiful fuzz! You could have influenced Cubists with this picture. starting this at 9

Good job keeping the bowl as the stationary point in the photo. Dogs do like to take down their food in record time. Never understood that, but I know my Golden Retriever can take it out in less than 10 seconds. 6.
