Tilesby russiComment: This was one of the favorites I came across during voting. I thought this was a wonderful example of the challenge and you should be proud that you took something you did not care for and made a great photo of it. |

IMG_1492-01a.jpgby dwterryComment: I've looked at some of your bridal stuff and I must say, you take fantastic bridal shots!!! Like... really really REALLY fantastic! :-D
I really love this one because it is so unique looking. The building gives it a magical touch, and where she is standing does a good job of showing off her dress nicely. The leaves on the right and the lightpost are a bit distracting to me (the lightpost is not that bad, just is a bit weird that I can't see all of it, so probably a looser crop at the top would make it less distracting). The colors and lighting are great as well! |

No Ideaby littlegettComment: "I like the faded colours and illustrated feel to it."
Me tooo!!!!!! I gave this an 8 because I just love exactly what you do about it! The only reason I didn't score this higher was because I wanted to see it a bit bigger and with a bit more details in the shadows.
Great job on a fantastic image.
edit: Oh yes, and I wanted to also say that I love the creative title. :-) Message edited by author 2006-09-04 20:07:13. |

Hungry Bear About To Become Toast?by obsidianComment: This is such an adorable shot!! I love the concept and I really like the colors and composition. It's so neat how the blue is reflecting in the toaster, bringing your composition some extra impact. I think that it has a bit of an overprocessed look to it, as the background looks very flat and the bears head looks very sharpened. I might not be explaining things well but I want to at least try to put into words what I would have noticed if I had voted in this challenge. When I look at it now though all I can think of is OH HOW CUTE!! |

How Much Is That Forest In The Window?by posthumousComment: Oh gosh. This is so wonderful. My kind of picture - quirky and beautiful all at once.
I love the colors. I love how the reflection is not totally in focus but it still seems to work. I love how the trees and the bottles in the window seem to be a perfect match for each other.
The white part of the reflection at the top of the photo is a bit distracting to me, and I think I'd prefer it cropped... maybe a bit under the bottom edge on the right of the top horizontal bar. That would be interesting to see. But I think that the crop you chose is good too because I just adore the green square item at the top left! |

Power to the skyby WobbleComment: I personally find the shot a little bland but I think that has to do more with subject matter than the photo itself. I think you did a good job making (with great composition and contrast) this subject actually look as intriguing as I expect it could be! Hope this makes sense. |
