Chilli The Gerbilby SteveJComment: Wow, pretty decent shot - through a cage *and* of an animal that probably moves a ton. Good work! (edit: and by "pretty decent" I mean I gave it a ten) Message edited by author 2006-12-22 03:06:26. |

Heaven by Ragga2000Comment: Mmmm... I hope heaven is green. It's my favorite color. Did you know that green is the color that is easiest on the human eye? Doctors in some hospitals changed their surgical scrubs to green for that reason. I think God created plants green and our eyes to love green all in the same moment so that the world could be more beautiful for us. |

The eyes of truth are watching youby JudiComment: I like this image but I would have liked even better to see less elements in it. It isn't that I don't like this type of editing - I have nothing against the more heavily processed shots in this challenge. I know that it would totally change what you were going for but it might be neat to see just the girl in the sky all by herself. That is because I feel you have done SUCH a great job with the girl (pose, colors, the way it is edited to look very, very real) that I want to keep looking at her, and I just find myself distracted by the hands and the face in the clouds. I think that the girl is strong enough to hold the image on her own. Or maybe have the hands or the face in addition to the girl but not both. In any case, you did a good job with the editing - everything looks very natural. I am bumping you up a point for the strong technical aspect. |

After The Stormby krglComment: Gorgeous composition and colors. It maybe looks a bit too much like a painting but it still is visually appealing. |

UH-OHby MichaelCComment: Great border, I really like it. I love this shot although I do feel like the red is a tad overpowering (I realize high saturation was what you were going for - I just do not feel like the red and the blue balance with each other) and that is what put this shot in my top ten favorites instead of my top four. Everything is so beautiful here - the sky is lovely as is the vehicle.. I don't know why but it really just appeals to me. Great image. |

Head in the Cloudsby freakin_hilariousComment: My first thought when I saw this was that the shadow around the central oval of sky was going the wrong way - it should be on the inner portion of the border so that it looks more like there is a hole in the head. But then I realized that it was perfect this way as his head truly is "in" the clouds. I think this is a great image with a lot of symbolism. |

lead into the lightby m2iwComment: Well, I wonder if you are getting DNMC comments. I personally feel like the sky is a very "key" element to this image as it really provides the entire context for the rest of the shot. I'm bumping you up a point for uniqueness and creativity in interpreting the challenge. |

black holes in the skyby thegrandwazooComment: I think the editing here may be over the top for some but I am perfectly fine with it. I think you did a very good job of the editing you did. I feel like you left just the right amount of "border" around the eye and the iris. The only thing is that the veins could be a little lighter, to me. I really feel like they are what is grabbing most of my attention. However I think maybe with them not as visible the shot would be a bit more.. abstract in a way that might not be good for it. So I don't know. Anyway, good image overall! |
