The colors are so startling they could almost be obnoxious, but they work so well together that they aren't. Good work! |

Nice Aussie colours indeed, as said below. This was one of the most dramatic of the year and of the challenge. When I was a tiny kid, my parents drove round the outback of Australia twice and the rusty countryside of Broken Hill is familiar to me in a far distant memory. The corrugated roads and taste of dust in a non-air conditioned car are still with me. That was back in the 50s. |

Red dirt hmmm... must be out back Australia :)
an excellent shot Mike I'll have to buy you lunch
funny how lots of people think the red is over saturated when it is really like this out there

Great border, I really like it. I love this shot although I do feel like the red is a tad overpowering (I realize high saturation was what you were going for - I just do not feel like the red and the blue balance with each other) and that is what put this shot in my top ten favorites instead of my top four. Everything is so beautiful here - the sky is lovely as is the vehicle.. I don't know why but it really just appeals to me. Great image. |

Very dramatic color tones. I never realized that a camper trailer on a barren back road could be so beautiful. Well done! |

Way to go taking and ordinary scene and turning into an incredible "wall-hangable" piece of art! The rich colors and crisp focus: OutSTANDING! |

Mars? No, they don't have clouds on Mars. I know, you used the freedom of the new rule set to impose a cloudy sky on a Martian landscape.
Seriously unreal - 8 |

This is outstanding. I think for me it would work better if the red on the road weren't so bright, flat, blocked up. But a lovely job. |

I really like this. Something we can all relate to. The exagerated saturation works. Good one. 7 |

Love the colors but i feel the orange-brown gradient is little overdone. It should have stopped where sky started.7. |
