I like this except for the non-symetrical aspect. Being an abstract I think it could get tilted any way you like, but I feel there is something off due to the lines lines exited the frame at different places. well, maybe I am wrong. Maybe it would make for a boring composition. This certainly is a dynamic shot. Okay, so I won't be marking down for non-symmetricalness!

I usually don't care for shallow DOF. But here I think it works. I'm backwards I guess, 'cause I know a lot of people love shallow DOF but would think that this shot has your subject blurry / out of focus. But I really feel that there is emphasis on the sidewalk for a reason - like the kid really is showing the way. I do wish that the figure on the left were more in the frame but other than that I like this a bunch.
