Any greys?by snafflesComment: Yay shooting at arm's length! I do that a lot. Didn't get a chance to comment during, but I gave this an 8 because I really did like it a ton. High-contrast is cool, and the face isn't in focus but the hair is more so, which makes the hair more of the point, which is neat. |

The Oracleby kiwinessComment: Haven't seen 300 but just looked up this image... what is so great about your photo is that it works wonderfully if you have seen the movie or if you haven't. I wish this had scored higher.. I definitely think it deserved to. |

Enigmaby WildcardComment: Oh sheesh. Very underrated in my opinion. Portraits come in different styles, and this one is unusual but none the less wonderful. Looking at your editing steps you should be VERY PROUD of this amazing piece of art... you took so many elements and combined them in ways that enhanced them all, instead of one detracting from the other (overpowering background, or so forth). And I really love that you did the heart on your leg.. it sounds like it was an accident that it became part of this image? but I think it worked better than probably a heart on paper might.
In other words.... amaaazing. :-D |

n 27(07) Étude d'un femme vue en buste, inachevé by silverfoxxComment: *fall over* This is AMAZING. Great use of expert editing to achieve something that is both "photographic in nature" and something that goes beyond what we can see in other rulesets. I love the concept but also, I believe this is executed just perfectly. The soft colors just make this perfect in my opinion. 10 10 10! |
