Fall Meadowby sophiawoodComment: Dangerous style, but here it works beautifully thanks to the perfect composition. |

Lost At Seaby IAmEliKatzComment: Personally I would have tried to increase slightly the contrast between water and sky layers. Nevertheless I love the dreamlike simplicity. 8 |

Solitude by bhugeComment: Congrats on the very deserved ribbon! I like the composition: rock circle + 2 monoliths, Robert Langdon would love to explain it :) |

The Simple Life by skewsmeComment: The combination of classical still life with an impressionistic background is very original and the colors are gorgeous. Congrats on the well deserved blue!!! |

Morning Harvestby timfythetooComment: Congrats! This is my favorite in this challenge. He's well hidden without being tiny and once you spot him (took me a while), it feels like a big revelation. |

Fauveby StephanieDComment: Composition and technicals are brilliant, giving a very feline quality which reminds me immediately of lions,...
I am sure it would have scored much higher in a free study! |

Night Time Moon bowby mgarsteckComment: Congratulations on the 5th place! A pity it did not ribbon IMO.
By the way, there's a similar picture which won the 1st price of the Outdoor Photographer contest (see July 11 issue), but yours is better. |

The Family Rush by AllenPComment: It's exactly the type of wildlife shot which feels alive and puts the viewer right there. Therefore quite worthy of the National Geographic! The birds' motion blur does it for me. The lighting is also great. Just the composition feels a bit wrong, I guess not enough space in front of the calf. |
