Remembranceby sigrun_thComment: Good subject and composition. A bit heavy on the sharpening/halos imho though. |

Celebrate Brotherhoodby beautyqn25Comment: Great capture, but why include the highlight on the left? I think this would be more powerful if cropped tighter. Great expressions and b&w treatment though. |

Touchdown!by ttreitComment: Nice capture of celebration. It'd have been nice to have one of the faces in focus looking more into the frame as the handshake isn't a very strong focal point but that probably wasn't possible. Regardless, nice composition and use of color. |

35 years - still going strong!by RiponladyComment: A bit underexposed - it appears that there is no detail in the suit or dress - they're both black, but better lighting might add texture and dimension. As such, my eyes are drawn to the black areas of the shot, as well as the bright white collar. I think this image could work, but as I've said, lighting is crucial. |

"Just Because"by tfarrell23Comment: Really nice photo, the lighting adds to the lighthearted feel of the image. One of the better shots in the challenge imho. |

Family Celebrationby SteveinnzComment: Certainly a celebration, but beyond that there isn't a lot going here. The lighting isn't too bad as the highlights are well controlled, but the white balance coupled with the underexposure makes the scene too dark imho. I'd also recommend rotating a bit clockwise. |

Military Superflowerby GeneralEComment: Not a bad scene, but hurt by lens flare and more importantly, the tilted horizon. The flare might be lessened by holding a piece of paper or some other diffusing material above the lens to shield the sun. Rotating can be done easily in photoshop or any other image editing program. |

Newlywedsby philupComment: Nice subject and composition. Might have a stronger effect in a black and white format - there's a bit too much magenta imho in the skin tones. |
