Jumperby davidus428Comment: I love the soft lighting in this. It helps bring you down to the scale of this delicate subject. |

Cows Over Martignyby levyj413Comment: Aside from the night time one, I think this is my favorite of this collection. The silhouette is great and crisp, and you couldn't have asked for a greater sense of depth from this background. The only thing that irks me, and this is minor, is the upper right hand corner seems a bit too hazy for the crispness of the rest of the image. I may have cropped this a smidge lower. |

Photo, Videoby Joey LawrenceComment: For as much as you seem to berate this image it is actually quite interesting and enjoyable to look at. Memorable. |

Starry, Starry Night in the Italian Alpsby levyj413Comment: My first reaction when I saw this was "with a PowershotS2 IS?!" It's a great camera but I had seriously brushed it off for any potential with nighttime shots. This sure proves me wrong. Excellent work on the original capture and the post processing. |

HOOPS by Breeee123Comment: This is an amazing silhouette. Glad to see someone with the same camera as me snagging some ribbons. :)
The warm tones in the background are lovely and really help the soft silhouettes sink into a great context. The position of the sun could not have been better, either. |

City Boundby FirstyComment: Wow, what really makes this shot for me is how the city is visible in the background with a kind of grimy halo of light above it. Gives an awesome sense of depth for the railway and a bit of grit, which is nice. |

The Last Goodbye by cutlassdude70Comment: Excellent shot. I also thoroughly enjoyed the story behind it - you're absolutely right though, this would not have had nearly the same impact without that sky behind it. Now, did the security guard actually call the police or was he just looming over you two while you were waiting for the perfect lighting? |

Paradise by kosmikkreeperComment: Ah, the joys of a super wide angle lens. This is absolutely gorgeous. Impressive that the highlights in the interior of the boat didn't get blown out, they just appear bright and inviting. The crisp reflections of the mountains really make this shot for me, they add a perfect frame around the boat. This is going straight into my favorites. |

Drain Pipe Creatures by scalvertComment: This is a VERY clever shot. (And whoa - you live in Easton? I just moved to Nebraska after 6 years in Redding.) |

Greyhound Racing by mtppComment: I had a feeling this would snag a ribbon. It's still my favorite of the ones I saw. |
