 taken with available light, limited DOF and slow shutter speed for a macro shot. that's why I pushed d ISO to 500. I think the "grain" on the leaf added to the contrast against the shinny eyes (so I didn't use neat image).

this was a "wild" specimen i found in the garden. You may have noticed he/she was missing two legs.

Kinda has a primate look about him. Actually critters sometimes have cute faces, but they are so small we can't really see em. This is a fabulous pic.

WOW - that is just amazing. He almost has a human-like expression. Beautiful macro. This is totally terrific on all counts: focus, DOF and the lighting. It's pure magic.
