Well done, but AP's original is a bit more dynamic with the light streaks of cars and the people are better contrasted against the lights.

Technically and compositionally this is way better than the original. Since it is only a similar idea but executed completely different I have to deduct a point or two for not being a Déja Vu

If Christophe's "Boom Boom" is the image you are referring to I must say it's not even close; no "umbrella", no color, different (harsh) lighting. Are these even drops or is it sequines on a string?
