At Day's End by LydiaComment: Love the natural framing here from the barn walls and floor. The poses of the cowboy and horse seem to show a real connection between the two. Very nicely done! |

The Fawns of Dawn by yankoComment: Thanks for sharing the original. Amazing job on the processing. If that had been my original, I never would have had this type of end product in mind. Congrats on a job well done! |

A Country Gardenby taljComment: 224th?! Are the voters crazy? This is lovely, in fact, one of my 10's from the challenge! The small path leading you in, the splashes of color, the freshness and simplicity of the shot are all just perfect. I could sit in the spot you took this from for hours! I'm so glad you were able to get out for a while on such a beautiful day, and hopefully this photo can be a reminder of the good days when you're feeling down. In fact, I think I'll put it in my favorites so that it can cheer me up on those gray days. :) |

The Fawns of Dawn by yankoComment: Oh, I'm so happy this one took the blue! It was my favorite of the challenge! I'd love to hear the story on how you got this shot, and even see the original if you'd be willing to share it. This is just stunning. Congrats! :) |

Fire Danceby jjcmontanaComment: Love the creamy colors in the background and the sharp, dark silhouette in contrast. I'm not sure about the halo around the dark area though, I wish the silhouette stood more on it's own. |

Stepping Out of the Pastby kleskiComment: I'm not normally a fan of selective desat, but this one gets a bonus point since I didn't even realize you'd used the technique at first. It all felt very natural, and I think with a brightly colored background the horse may have gotten lost. Nicely done. |

3-june 08. before & after. dropletsby rozComment: This is one of those shots I probably would have pegged for a lost cause when I saw the original, but you've done an amazing job with it! The bright complimentary colors, the details in the strand of drops, and the sharpness of the main drop where you can see the reflection of the world are all right on. Very nicely done! |
