Nice use of the shallow dof to get a nice soft background to really show off the details of the feathers.

At first glance, I thought it was a sweet shot with a cute kid... nice family time together. The more I explore the photo though, I get confused. Why desaturate the surroundings, why is there a cornstalk between her feet, why is she wearing a fancy dress and no shoes, while the two guys are in relaxed attire with sneakers? And the line going down the woman's back and to her legs just looks horribly uncomfortable. It almost looks like the two guys are just relaxed and having fun, and she was stuck in the photo in a specifically posed manner. The kid IS adorable though, and I keep getting brought back to his cute little face, so maybe just a tighter crop would have helped here... at least for me.

Interesting shot, with the two looking in almost the same direction yet facing opposite ways. The wings spread is great. And the title adds a nice chuckle.

Wow, I'm drawn into his eye and the interesting black shape around it. Nice detail in the lower feathers too. Unfortunately, unless I get my monitor angled just right, the top of his head, and even down his neck, seems a little too saturated and all blends together into a bright reddish blob.

I like the unique perspective and crop here. Would have been nice to have just a tad more light under the bird though.

I like the background patterns here. It seems as though there is a halo around the entire bird. At first I thought it might be from the birds forward motion, but that doesn't explain why it is in front of his wings as well.
