URBISby ValdoComment: Something about the sky/clouds seems unnatural, or overprocessed. But, the shot definately has a great postcard feel to it. The font and placement of the text all feel very natural for a postcard. |

Check Out Something Fishyby madcrabberComment: Great shot, but I feel like the font is too square and boldly colored, and doesn't seem to go with the flowing water and tentacles of the sea creature. |

Classic Tackynessby bvoiComment: I like the mix of the added text with the sign to make the full phrase, but that pink.... eww! :P Very clever. |

Stealthby scalvertComment: I'm glad the ocelot was asleep... this is a wonderful shot! And hard to believe he's the same little guy you shot before who's been sitting in my favorites for a long time. Great job! :) |

By Candlelightby talmyComment: Definately risky to enter this, but I liked it. Flames are interesting, and it has a warm feel to it. I think it's the wood under the candles that should normally be more in the shadows, but comes out in warm tones. Anyway... underrated in my opionion. |

Neon Paris by scarbrdComment: Great job... I love how the 'restaurant' neon sign in the background isn't lit up. That would have been a major distraction to the shot. Nicely done! |

Birth of Las Vegas by cutlassdude70Comment: I didn't vote on this challenge, but this is just fantastic! Even better is that you took the time to share the background on how the shot was done. I think I see that nighttime desert squirrel running around back there in the background! :P Great job, and congrats on a well deserved blue! |

Shining Through by scalvertComment: Originally posted by saiphfire: One thing I love about your shots is that you always give us a detailed description of how you took them. I wish everyone would take the extra seconds to do that. |
I'll second that! I always enjoy reading your photographers comments, even on something as simple and as this photo. Your daughter has really grown up over the last 2 years compared to your first 7+ photo... we'll keep an eye out in 2008 for the same chair to see how much more she's grown! Congrats on the ribbon... well deserved! :) |
