loving the backlighting on this. wishing the pepper wasnt quite so centered in the frame. some of the seeds were a little fuzzy. if you had aperature control you could do a smaller aperature for more DOF. good job! 8 mag99

chris, i have issues with the lighting of this picture.i might have used another light source on the lime too for even ness. also might have been less harsh with some paper or TP over your light. however i love the idea ! 9 mag99

i feel the fire imagery is very strong on this. the potato itself might have benefited from some additional lighting so that it 'reads' more clearly as what it is. a flashlight perhaps. also if it was either a little more to the right or left in the frame, it would be a stronger composition :) .. 7. mag99

a little oversharpened .. could be an ad in a lunch menu at wendy's :) >. but i think what keeps this from being a truly excellent food shot is the lighting is a little too glarey. the turkey is a hair blown out .. maybe put tp over the light or move it back a little bit . i wonder what afew more shadows would have looked like? 7. mag99
