Couldn't you just move that hose away from the frame? It would make the shot fantastic, as it is, though, it's techically great but is visually wounded.

Great abstract, although I would lose lower-right corner concentrating entirely on the band of bubbles. That said, there isn't much of an apple theme here.

I think it's a good picture in colour. But because of the lack of contrast in the original shot, desaturated version doesn't work.

The tear is very artificial. I recommend honey - can be shaped into different size of tears or wet marks.
