I think a yellow border would have enhanced the theme of complimentary colors more. And I get a sense the black background is not totally black, or is it just my monitor? Maybe try a curves adjustment layer?

Lovely photo......very cute subjects, answering the challenge theme very well. The impact of the whole photo is strengthened, by all your ducks being in formation. My only nitpick, if I have to look for one, is that the bright reflections slightly distract my attention....perhaps try darkening the water, if youre a photoshop guru.

I love the high key, and think it's been very effectively postprocessed. The colour contrast between eyes and lips is also so effective. The dark shadow on the left eyebrow/lid disturbs me though. Still, a wonderful portrait, that really speaks to me.
