I really hate this. or.. no.. that was my initial reaction, but what I mean is, it makes me *incredibly* uncomfortable to look at.

Personally deeply disturbing, and as such an extremely powerful capture.
Really struggling over whether I give this a high mark or not

made me smile as soon as I saw it.. almost spoils it knowing there is a house "this side" of the camera. I love the idea of just the bit of flooring with a couple of sofas sitting inthe middle of a field.

Yet again, a capture of yours that is absolutely wonderful. I totally agree, this would not have born a square crop. The textures and receding lines are wonderful. Sepia colouring really matches the age of the structure.

If I'm going to be *really* picky, I'd liked to have seen it rotated a smidgin, but I freely admit that may have stolen some of the atmosphere of the shot.

The history behind it brings even more emotion to the shot. Marvelous in a word

Outstanding shot. Absolutely brilliant expression that makes the entire shot, that seems to say "are you taking photo's *again*?"

Love this shot, and the mispelling of Michael just adds a little more to it :)

I really love this, it has a slightly old-time feeling to it, as if it could have been taken in the forties or fifties.
The composition is wonderful, the hibiscus balancing out the area of the subjects. (wow.. does that sound as poncy to anyone else as it does to me?)

anyway.. excellent shot, well done :)

Great capture, and the processing around it is really good as it only adds to the shot, not overpowering it.

The font is very like the advertising font they use at the moment (I'm guessing a little inspiration there?)

Love the border effect as well, it's one of the things I have the most difficulty with, and tend to just ignore, cropping and leaving it. Having seen this though I'll definitely try and add an occasional border
