Relax with a Coke and Cellphoneby justamistereComment: He doesn't look relaxed to me, and he looks like you've asked him to sit there why you take his pic and he doesn't want to be there. Your grey scale treatment is flat, and overall angle and composition is lack luster. Try different angles, read up on b/w conversions. |

Luv Of Coffeeby CraftyComment: The sun is too high in the sky to give this a warm and inviting feel. The signs behind the tables distract me and keep me from wanting to sit for a cup of coffee. This feels like you were walking past and just snapped the picture. With all the elements in this shot were there no interesting angles you could have tried to make the shot pull in the viewer and make the whole scene more inviting? |

ANTHROPOLOGIEby Marc923Comment: Anthropologie is a retailer of high-end casual clothing and other merchandise run by Urban Outfitters, Inc. A somewhat new apparel retailer, Anthropologie has used unique marketing and branding techniques to become a forerunner in womens fashion.[1]
Seeing the subject in black and white as they walk out of the frame doesn't give me a feeling for what the subject is suppose to be. Her arms seem awkward in this shot. She doesn't engage the viewer enough to overpower the sign above her head, plus with her walking out of the frame, my eye goes right out the frame with her and don't return. |

All together, totally apart.by bob_bobskiComment: I'm sorry but this shot seems staged. It may not be, but the overall feel of the image is so so. I think the biggest distraction is the truck behind them. I know that you're using the curved line of the benches, but with the truck there, my eye doesn't follow the curve, it b-lines right to the truck. Experiment with other angles if you have something of that size in the background of the shot. |

Saturday Afternoon Stylesby meneleComment: Snuck a photo at the mall? I think if one of the subjects had looked back when you captured the shot, it'd bring the viewer more into the shot. I do like the mural on the back wall and how it ties the fashion to the foreground. That being said, I think keeping this shot in color would have been stronger. Fashion is about colors and textures and by removing the color, you've eliminated some of the subject you're trying to convey. |

Sound of the Streetsby Pipe_DreamComment: The post processing is a little heavy I think, but the composition is compelling. I think a slightly slower shutter speed so as to have captured some more movement in the drum stick would make this a great shot. |

Beer Envyby maxxumgComment: What is it you found compelling in this image? I look at it and see a snapshot while you walked down the road. Only story here I can see is someone's having a kegger and you happened to be there when they loaded the truck. Composition is flat and uninspired. Post processing doesn't add to the shot. The subject doesn't engage the viewer. |

Taking the Plungeby rinacComment: not sure what I'm seeing here, but I do feel a more square crop removing most the right side past the spectators would keep my eye on the girl and not wandering out of frame. |

Real Deal in Chinatownby anthonyczajaComment: I like that the guy in the cap looking at the camera. It adds interest to the shot. A b/w treatment may even make this a stronger shot by removing the distractions of color throughout the image. |
