I wish, oh how I wish, the focus had been sharper on this. Also it seems to have been taken outside, not in a studio.

The potential for a fabulous, heart-rending portrait was there with this lovely lass.

I wish this had stayed with the waves at the bottom - the shadow and different lay of the fabric (blanket/s?) at the top right spoil the image for me sadly. And yet that bottom left portion is wonderful - the rich red with perfect lighting and interesting abstract shapes.... . Potentially a great image, but just missing out.

This is a lovely shot - I particularly like the light and overall composition. However, I don't get an impression of texture - which is about touch - at all.

I'm really not sure what has happened here, but somehow this seems to have lost it's texture, possibly replaced simply by noise. A great shame because the contrast in red and blue is great and I imagine the textures of the wood are fascinating.

Excellent detail here and an interesting subject. I think this would benefit from a slightly less centralised composition, and perhaps if we could see just a little more of the nut under the inner skin.
