Yes, the title is inspired by the Misfits song. I must be sick and twisted :-P, but that is what came to mind when I was trying to think of a title for this piece. Then I had this racing train of thought where it all made sense, I won't even try and go into it. Besides, I'd rather you let the image and the title take you on your own journey and find your own meanings :-)

I know, yet another in my series of abstacts that I am strangely and perversely compelled without control to work on and submit here, forcing the wrath of the dpc audience. I must have a masochistic streak or something :-P

Anyways, I think it works for textures, it seems to have the right lighting, and shows that interplay of light and shadows. Maybe I'm way off base though. Certainly wouldn't be the first time!!! We shall see.

In ps- cropped, cloned out a few little specks, noise reduction, usm, linear dodge, linear burn, linear light layers with the opacity dropped way down, sel color adj, hue/sat adj, levels adj, curves adj, resize, border, output usm

thanks for checking out my pic :-)

I wish this had stayed with the waves at the bottom - the shadow and different lay of the fabric (blanket/s?) at the top right spoil the image for me sadly. And yet that bottom left portion is wonderful - the rich red with perfect lighting and interesting abstract shapes.... . Potentially a great image, but just missing out.

I don't care for thin red border but I like this photo a lot. Very painterly.
