Great action of the powerful waves crashing up on and near the lighthouse. Love that this captures the faint sun rays to the left and the seagull in flight. Very well seen and captured!

The rains have stopped and the morning haze & light brushes across the countryside. Road trip! Time to pop in your favorite soundtrack/music, hit play, take the wheel and hit the road with the windows down. Love how inviting this capture is explore what lays ahead! Can see this in the top 5.

At first glance this captures the spirit and feel of taking a 'Sunday drive' to explore scenic highways and byways. I then noticed that there was no driver and this was a clever and creative capture using a toy car and road to capture the mood and feel of a road trip. I wonder if it would have been better to turn the car the other way (traveling away from viewer) so that it would be harder to notice no driver and thus make it easier to maintain the illusion of this being a classic roadster on the seaside highway. Still, I really like the mood and creativeness of this photo and it is among one of my highest votes - can see this in the top 5.

My eye follows the rolling road as it weaves through the hills. The green countryside promises one a scenic and pastoral drive. Nice capture!

A person kneels down on the middle of the road to capture the moment that speaks of the taking the path leading to off to adventure and exploration of the mountains beyond. As an observer I feel the invitation to travel, to see, to explore with your capture of another photographer capturing that spirit of travel – the road trip to see and discover the beauty of the land. Nicely captured!

Love the title for it plays on a couple of interpretations. It can tie into the driving emotion that some get a day or two before travel; excitement, nervousness, anticipation to get started and hit the road. It also calls attention the swerving skid marks on the road – perhaps the driver of the car is a little too excited that they can’t contain their boundless energy - which is visible by the marks they leave behind on the road. OR, or it could be that the anticipation alludes to that of the driver/us that sees this crazy driver in front of us weaving in and out ahead. In this interpretation, the wise choice is to take the foot off the accelerator to slow down and give them a wide berth.

A very pastoral and scenic commute that is definitely the less stressway to travel. No honking horns only the occasional bleeting of sheep:-) Love the view of the mountains in the distance!

The bends and curves in the road are the lines that guide the eye to travel and explore the beauty of this rural landscape. The forest and the blue sky with fluffy clouds add to the appeal – this is the beginning of a scenic roadtrip.

Lady and The Tramp

Congrats on the Blue! Great composition and straight out of that great scene from Lady and the Tramp. Really great how you have both dogs slurping at the noodle and I really love how much they both emote - especially the big puppy dog eyes on your Lady as she looks up at Tramp. Wonderful work in putting it all together!
