Two bays, no waitingby jackal9Comment: I really like this shot; the B&W conversion is wonderful ("spot on", as they say), and the choice of subject matter is interesting, with lots to see if you really look. Nicely done. |

Marysville Catholic Churchby cogeroxComment: Really nice shot; I like the choice of subject, and the perspective/composition are dead on. I wish the light was a little more flattering; some sunlight would really give this a little extra impact. |

Point to Point by TechoComment: Wonderful. Well conceived and executed. Clear focus, wonderfully shot and processed. I love the shallow DoF, used here to very good effect. Nothing bad to say here. |

Tower Of Powerby libertyComment: Neat image, taken from the right perspective for the challenge, I think. I like the fade into darkness, and in those areas the apparent intentional oversharpening works pretty well. It works less well on the wires for me (the jaggies don't appeal to me in the way the halos do), but given basic editing, you had to make a compromise somewhere! |

Awaiting Summerby jdannelsComment: This image really appeals to me as a whole. The deep blues are fantastic, and the tones are warm and pleasing. The lack of sharpness of the reflection (which is where I see the symmetry here) decreases the effectiveness of the image in relation to the challenge topic for me. Also, being nitpicky here, the loss of blur on the boat (especially on the left), the thinness to the wires (perhaps due to resizing), and the "thing" on the right side over the post (near the tree) were elements that made this less effective for me. |

Sanssouciby ndsComment: Delightful image, showing lots of points of symmetry. Meets the challenge well, well executed and nicely presented. |

Houehold Natural Symmetryby lucienawComment: Neat symmetry here, and though the extremely shallow DoF doesn't thrill me here, the use of the darks and lights in the background works quite nicely. |

Lady at workby marboComment: This is about the only ladybug shot I really, really liked in this challenge. The colors are bright, the shell shiney, caught against a wonderfully contrasting color scheme. Nice. 9. |

In Flight by darnokComment: Delightful. One of my favorites of the challenge. Well composed and precisely shot, though I'm guessing composition happened more than was made (I tried to do this, failed miserably, and didn't enter it; seeing this I'm glad I chose another shot!). 9. |

Bluesby nutzitoComment: This is one of my favorite images in this challenge; it would have been a nine if it wasn't for the bit of soft focus on the bottom wings, and a bit of haloing on the top wings (especially the back one). As is, 8. Nicely done! |
