I had no tripod, so I set the caera on the dock on put the lens cap under the lens. Shot in tungsten just before dark. Bummer the boat moved abit on the left. I haven't had the update button in a week and half. Longest time I can remember.

how long an exposure was this shot at? you mentioned the boat moved, so was curious. quite a bummer, i agree :(

nice colors, maybe blue is too deep respect whites.
Even buildings on the backgroud create disturb

This image really appeals to me as a whole. The deep blues are fantastic, and the tones are warm and pleasing. The lack of sharpness of the reflection (which is where I see the symmetry here) decreases the effectiveness of the image in relation to the challenge topic for me. Also, being nitpicky here, the loss of blur on the boat (especially on the left), the thinness to the wires (perhaps due to resizing), and the "thing" on the right side over the post (near the tree) were elements that made this less effective for me.
