Day 10 B&W - Hey Mom!by alexjackComment: Wonderful capture, delightfully shot and presented. Such a great expression on the girl's face, with that adoring look at mom or dad, and the purse, teddy bear. You couldn't have set this shot up, and one more second and you'd have missed it. Nicely done. |

Togetherby Rino63Comment: Excellent sharpness in this shot; I keep looking and being amazed at the starkness of the tree limbs. Though the woman's hair is bright, I think it works with the high contrast of the overall shot. Nice. |

Day 12 - It's a Guinea Pigby jonfrommkComment: I'm not seeing any harshness to this, but I always try to calibrate my monitor before looking at DPC (takes about ten seconds). Differences in how your images are seen is a part of publishing them on the Web. Here there are some possible composition critiques, but I think the processing is good, not much to play with there! Nicely done. |

death proves Life2.jpgby electrolostComment: I usually strongly dislike negatives, but this works here really well, and the elements fit together forming both interesting sub-images and an overall intriguing pattern. Interesting image. |

Brodie and Jimy.jpgby robgs57Comment: Available light shots in intimate settings are the best; unobstrusive, gentle shots that capture special moments. You've got a great capture here, with good lighting, nice tones, and strong composition. Nicely done. |

Day 12: Mule Deerby RebeccaComment: I like what you've done with the processing to "bring this back" from an otherwise difficult shot. The crop is really good, and the subject feels nice and close (almost looking at me thinking, "What are you looking at??"). I agree processing gives it a more artsy look, which is appealing. I might have cloned out the lamp pole under the legs, if possible; it's a bit distracting to me. |

eight/thirtyby UNCLEBROComment: This is a really nice image; I don't have much to add, unfortunately, as everyone's said it's nice and sharp and has great range. Did you shoot in B&W or was this a conversion, and if the latter, do you mind if I ask which method you used? |
