Cormorantby StagoleeComment: Crop it a bit more, shift the bird off-centre and you have a winner here |

The Buck Stops Hereby spreadcomComment: Woohoo what brilliant colours. That late watery winter light is the best all year. This is so soft in tone yet sharp and clear that you might have a front-pager here. Only thing worign against it is that he is looking away |

Reflectionsby MattOComment: Great clarity, perhaps just a bit 'ordinary' for it to score high. I know you hate to hear that and I don't mean it unkindly. That's just the impression I had from it |

'Fresh Breakfast Feast'by AweshotComment: Now I acknowledge this as a very fine wildlife capture as it shows wildlife at work. What doesn't seem to click is the photographic values but I don't know why. Perhaps its because really the bird being the 'hero' of the shot, is lost in the camo of the trunk. |

What's that sound??by lkn4truthComment: Oh wow, I wish this had been razor sharp because the grouping, the light and the expressions would get it up on the front page. |

Not much to choose from in the city.by VanBergenComment: Not having seen the colour version its hard to say that B&W might not have been the best choice for this. But the detail of the bird is lost in the contrast of the grass. It's a damned fine urban composition too. |

Mockingbirdby novaComment: wow that composition, light and balance is good. This might be the best I've seen so far. Looks like a Raymond Ching painting ... and he's the best. |
