One Exit Onlyby lytaComment: Hello from the CC:
I enjoy the mysterious aspect of this photo however I feel the weakest aspect of this photo is that the contrast is so high that it's difficult to see detail in much of the image.
To me stronger photos have a focus, or a subject that grabs the eye. My eye feels pulled all over the place in this image.
The composition is nice and strong, as is the perspective. I would suggest grabbing a tripod and seeing if you can get a nice clean exposure and DOF in such a dark place.
Assuming this is handheld, this is great considering the 1/60 of a second exposure.
Nice job and happy shooting! |

Me A Name I Call Myselfby riotspyneComment: far a long long way to ruuuuun. Nice image. The jewerly is a bit destracting and i would like to see the framing with a little less headroom. Very nice image none the less. |

Sign Of The Timesby fotodudeComment: Greetings from the CC:
Ok, this image I think need a bit more of a clean look. I think the approach is right on the money but perhaps the context of a city street or a bus in the background would add to the feeling your going for. The motion blur makes the image but the bushes/trees are detracting from the subject. The trees have a strange color to them that appears to be accidental. Just my opinion.
Keep it up.

The road signby LevTComment: Howdy from the CC:
For me, this image has a lot of destracting elements from the primary subject. It seems to me that the images that do the best on this site have a single clear, visually intresting subject. This image seems to go for more of a story telling angle.
The coloration is clear and the focus is sharp. I do enjoy the motion blur of the BMW. I think the best way to make this image stronger is to remove the destractions. IE, take off the watch and perhaps the this image either deep in the city where the building have a unifor look or out in the country where, there are now buildings/roadsigns. Great idea for an images and bear in mind that many voters don't go for "comedy" images and "vulgar" images. Keep it up, it seem you have the techinical ability to create quality images, now just play around with subject matter. IMHO. |
