Think the title "Tranquil" may have worked better. For "Beachcomber" I would expect to see someone on the beach looking for shells or something of the like.

I like the set up for the shot although the over all color seems flat to me? Maybe a up the saturation a little or play with some dodge and burn?

What I really like about this though is that it is something we see everyday (maybe not a vintage one, but we all see McD's signs all the time), but you made it looks so artsy and unique. Very cool!!

I like this version better. The light is brighter and I like the focus on the lower windows more than including the little bit of ceiling that shows in the vertical version.

I am not participating in this side challenge but I love black and white photos so I wanted to take a look at some of the pictures. I saw this thumb nail and thought it looked like a shadow against parched earth. What a stunning difference the full size image makes, yet at the same time, it is very close to what my mind originally thought when looking at the thumb nail. I would have to agree with previous comments that this is a true case of irony being captured in a photo. Well seen!

Great detail in this little guy and oh so cute. My only little nit pick is it seems to me that the main focus appears to be on the body instead of on the head...but it might just be me?
