"Beachcomber"by tjmuellerComment: Such a beautiful beach! Really makes me wish I was on vacation right about now.
Think the title "Tranquil" may have worked better. For "Beachcomber" I would expect to see someone on the beach looking for shells or something of the like. |

Detective Pendergast Livesby daboardergirlComment: Ah Ha...a fan of the Lincoln and Child Novels? Good choice!
I like the set up for the shot although the over all color seems flat to me? Maybe a up the saturation a little or play with some dodge and burn? |

Day 13: Driveby RebeccaComment: I love vintage signs!
What I really like about this though is that it is something we see everyday (maybe not a vintage one, but we all see McD's signs all the time), but you made it looks so artsy and unique. Very cool!! |

PHXby jdannelsComment: I like this version better. The light is brighter and I like the focus on the lower windows more than including the little bit of ceiling that shows in the vertical version. |

Coldby lunachickenComment: You really captured a very bleak and desolate essence in this photo. It is beautiful and stark at the same time. |

crisisby boysetsfireComment: I am not participating in this side challenge but I love black and white photos so I wanted to take a look at some of the pictures. I saw this thumb nail and thought it looked like a shadow against parched earth. What a stunning difference the full size image makes, yet at the same time, it is very close to what my mind originally thought when looking at the thumb nail. I would have to agree with previous comments that this is a true case of irony being captured in a photo. Well seen! |

Sir Froggins The Grayby libertyComment: Great detail in this little guy and oh so cute. My only little nit pick is it seems to me that the main focus appears to be on the body instead of on the head...but it might just be me? |

Back Garden Primaryby ChinarosepetalComment: Especially after reading your comments that this is a live ladybug I give you huge kudos! I loved this photo from the beginning and thought it would score higher. I love the simple red and yellow colors and the detail is fantastic. |

Sleepy Hollowby TranquilComment: Even without the title my first thought upon looking at this photo was that this would make a great movie set. Very spooky! |

morning interludeby annahComment: So lush and green! And the mist adds an ethereal atmosphere. With the umbrella I almost would have thought this was Thailand or somewhere in the far east. |
