heron landing by coolharComment: This was an advanced editing challenge. :)
Selective Editing: Adjustments can be made selectively to your photo. Cloning, dodging, burning, etc. to improve your photo or remove imperfections or minor distracting elements, etc. is acceptable.
Originally posted by Happy Bunny: Great shot, but I'm very confused about the rules for open challenges which state:
"Spot-Editing: Absolutely no spot-editing is allowed. This includes, but is not limited to drawing tools, dodging/burning tools, and cloning tools"
Is this now allowed? |

Into the Deep Blue Seaby JEFFJSBComment: Wow, this is really nice. It looks like something created in a landscape creation program. The smooth rocks are gorgeous. The border isn't bad, and I usually don't like them. The horizon is level, which is a definite bonus. :) |

mud pack dryingby SinkyComment: My first thought was that the mask is pulling her eyes open and pushing her lips together. Not crazy about this, but that is just my preference. I do like that her eyes are very clearly focused. :) |

Blue-topia?by obsidianComment: Wow, I didn't know Utopia had a phone number. :) This is a neat little building. The power lines in the corner are a bit distracting, but not too much. I like the effect that the shadows have on the inside walls. I would suggest that a larger image would be nicer - easier to see. :) |

A Splash of Blueby NstiG8trComment: I'm a huge fan of these shots. I just love them. This one's really interesting, because the edges of the splash look like snowflakes. If the base of the splash and the drop were more focused, it could make this an extremely good shot. :) |

Blue Morningby cislanderComment: This makes me think of hair gel. :) Gah, I can't imagine having to drink something like this every morning! |

Surferby sarimiliComment: I like the flow of the tree and clouds, but for some reason the car seems almost out of space.. I can't quite put my finger on it. It does appear a bit oversharpened, or perhaps saved as a regular jpeg? I really like the tree, and I am repeatedly drawn to it. :) |

Passing Timeby mpetersComment: I can't quite put my finger on what it is about this that I'm not super crazy about. I really like the tree.. the color of the sky is really nice.. I think it may be something with the ground. The bright rocks(?) at the bottom catch my attention nearly as much as the tree.. and I think the perspective is what's throwing me. It looks a little like the tree is too small for the picture. Overall, however, I like it, and I love the tree. :) |
