i think what makes this shot really interesting is the red and blue outfit he is wearing. not only are the colors very vibrant but they provoke some different emotions and feelings being that they are the U.S. colors. we've all heard about the contreversy of hurricane katrina and the lack of support from the government ... so the fact that such a classic new orleans fellow, who was probably affected by the hurricane, happens to be wearing the US colors. i hope that makes sense. :) anyways.... 8

i like the angle and perspective u got on this shot. also, i think the border is very nice. the hue of blue in the sky looks a bit off to me though. perhaps if you shot this at a different time a day the lighting would produce some more visually appealing colors as well as some more detailing in the wood. 5

wow... this baby has such distinct, beautiful features!! i think that the position of the mothers arms are somewhat awkward. but nonetheless.. this is a wonderful shot. beautiful black and white and great lighting. 8

the colors are striking!! perfect saturation! amazing depth of field as well! i think that the jet stream adds soooo much to the shot!! i can't tell if it is camera tilt or just the makeup of the terrain but it seems like this could be made a bit more level. thats the only thing i would suggest. otherwise.... the word PERFECTION comes to mind :)
