Oddly Callaby banmornComment: 8 - Very nice. Good color control. Criticism; not much, maybe slightly more 'dramatic' lighting and more symmetry top left corner where the two stems are 'appearing', may have made this even better in my opinion. Seems a little 'spot' below the left calla, pixelish, who knows. |

peculiarby suemackComment: 8 - Wow! Echium ((?) Pride of Madeira).. excellent angle/perspective and detail, colors. Criticism; not much, maybe the sky blow out issues, but difficult as you captured the tips very well, and still retained the 'height' context/perspective. Perhaps just a little more focus &/or 'blue' on the actual flowers, but difficult, and you certainly captured the foliage quite well - although I know it to be slightly more gray/green. Taking the liberty and putting into Favorites. Apt title. |

autumn, refracted and distortedby rachelellenComment: 7 - Good and 'odd', I am sure the size restrictions don't do this justice. Criticism; want to say wish there was some sharpness around the edge of what looks like glass beads(?), but then you'd likely lose the focus on the refractions, so who knows. Nice colors and although the refraction idea is obviously not 'new', the multiple in almost symmetry may be yours, if so, well done. Maybe a slightly different crop on this, or 'composition' (if possible), especially to gain more 'symmetry', may have made this better in my opinion. |

Little One Left Outby sammigurlComment: 5 - Mostly for the potential. Criticism; needs to be at least 640 (width in this case). The heavy top/bottom frame detracts in my opinion. This is a good shot with a seemingly nice background effect with the reflection off the water, but you lost a lot in the resizing (possibly also quality issues too(?) - seems to be noise/grain, not sure). Like the 'composition' and the colors, 'if only' the seedheads were a touch sharper, and maybe the 'tallest' stem not 'blown' (but then that does add a different effect here that could be used/incorporated), may have made this a better shot in my opinion. |

Even feild at the backstretchby BrennanOBComment: 6 - Wow. Pretty amazing shot. Criticism; seems you took this through a glass window(?) as I can see what look like reflections. Really like the effect in the movement in this shot, especially the 'smoothness' of it, coupled with the colors. As far as the Challenge and this being 'even', (even an 'even field' (no pun)), it is a bit of a stretch (again no pun), but there are other 'even' elements in this shot. Very good coloring. Title typo, which you likely know by now. |

Eagle 2 of Triptychby CutterComment: You didn't lose too much out of this shot with your crop in the triptych, good choice of crop. |

Buddyby rox_roxComment: 7 - Good. Criticism; maybe sharper angle (behind the frog perhaps) may have made this better in my opinion, not sure. Colors are good, like to see just a touch more 'crispness' on the frog but that would diminish the camouflage effect. Maybe a different crop too, not sure. Good meet of Challenge. |

Stay very, very still......by SammieComment: 6/7/6....7 Good capture. Criticism; wish the 'front' were as sharp as the 'rear', or he was turned the other way, not very considerate of him for the Challenge, even just a few steps back would have been better. Not sure on the crop/composition, but depends what you had to work with. |
