Jaguerby CalliopeKelComment: Very nice. Good clarity in the eyes. Two small 'nitpicks'; tree trunk looks like it is crooked by a whisker, but could be natural or a visual thing based on her clothing etc at the bottom (however 'straightening' may diminish the tilted pose, so who knows) and the white something bottom right in the dark pullover. edit:removed TN Message edited by author 2006-03-26 19:48:13. |

Caught!by RistyzComment: I gave this a 9. Excellent opportunity capture. Conjures a variety of mixed 'thoughts' but the bottom line is: it's genuine and captures reality. The pipe? - didn't bother me too much, in fact added a 'back alley' type feel to the shot in my opinion. Without it, still good, but not the same feel. The square framing was excellent and composition near perfect. A 'once off' shot. Taking the liberty of adding to my Favorites. Colors are also complementary and even more ironic, is where this was taken. |

Nightly Gothicby kiwinessComment: 4 - Very nice shot, scene, architecture and perspective. Well composed and balanced ('lines' seem near spot on). Criticism; mainly the pp/effects - a bit too strong for this scene in my opinion (although it lends itself well to it & does grow on you). edit:rephrased & condensedMessage edited by author 2006-03-30 06:24:54. |

Doorwayby JutildaComment: 7 - Don't mind the grain/toning/pp effect(s) - gives it character. A more finely tuned crop, especially on the left (elbow not cropped, or else more so), make this even better in my opinion. Guessing the 2 sec picked up a street or porch/front light, which again adds to the feel and character here, so well 'used'. Maybe a fraction dark, not sure. A little less grain/etc (softer) in the face, likely also have helped this in my opinion. |

The Temperance of Two Instancesby tryals15Comment: 7 - Nice use of the exposure effect - just wish it were bigger, 'somewhere', but realize this size likely doesn't do it justice. Doesn't quite look balanced in my opinion. Maybe more height frame-wise, not sure. The color, blue especially, is very nice. |

Time Out by owenComment: 8 - Very nice. Good rich coloring that complements and 'lifts' the darkness. Just looks like it needs a little more balance somewhere, maybe the horizon more centered and more sky (if you had it obviously), else maybe more water, not sure. A fraction more definition in the birds too, but likely difficult, retaining the detail in the sky as you have. |

19:20:41 > 19:20:43by pacpintoComment: 8 - Nice scene and colors. Good interesting elements with the boats with barrels(?) (don't know the correct term for the boat, sorry). The lighting is nice, as are the lines. This just seems it needs a slight nudge rotation up on the left to get it more balanced/level, but might just be the perspective it was taken at, so apologies in advance if wrong. Difficult, but perhaps a slight variation in the cropping, mainly bottom left, else the inclusion of the end of the boat(s) (if you had it obviously - although not sure on that as does work well as is) and 'somehow' capturing more of that clouded/dusky water surface, may have made this even better in my opinion. |

Enchanted Falls by elsapoComment: 8 - Very nice. Really like the lush green growth captured and how it contrasts well with the 'white' water, which the 2 sec exposure has worked well here, as well as the black rocks. The only two things I could try to suggest, and both are very minor, are a little more 'interest', or detail at the bottom/fore (but difficult with the long exposure plus there are not too many rocks/stationary objects there) and the overall balance - just seems that this needs a whisker nudge rotation up on the right (but I realize this may well be dead level/straight so apologies in advance) - just a visual thing, and yes, just my opinion. Perhaps a more refined crop also, especially on the sides, not sure. |

Moon Lit Canyonby jrtoddComment: 8 - Very nice. Like that cloud capture - more of that might have given this a little extra in my opinion. The shadows from them(?) on the mountains more discernable too (contrasted), but likely difficult. |

Sunset Windmillby AzrifelComment: 6 - Good and unusual. If the car/houses were not so apparent and the blades on the windmill 'somehow' a fraction more 'captured'/contrasted, make this even better in my opinion. Haven't seen a windmill shot like this before. |
