 Took a quick run to my favorite beach this evening to see what I could see... This is what I saw. =]

I had a few close calls with the waves and my camera, but no harm, no foul, right? =]

Post took about an hour, and my eyes hurt. But, I'm #2 in... that's gotta count for something... =]

The title sounds like a book a was supposed to read in high school ... ahhh. But seriously, lovely image, very natural looking colors.

7 - Nice use of the exposure effect - just wish it were bigger, 'somewhere', but realize this size likely doesn't do it justice. Doesn't quite look balanced in my opinion. Maybe more height frame-wise, not sure. The color, blue especially, is very nice.

i've been waiting to get to this 1, i saw it in small form and thoguth it would be a really treat to see at the large size (or as large as they let us anyhow). its a great image says the challenge well, & has great color and feel to it.

The only thing I did not care for too much was the plain sky. A bit of dodging or burning might have brought out some of the highlites. 8

Many good photos in this challenge so now I am going throught them all a second time. Did not do yours justice the first time .... going from 7 to 8 now. Texture and colours are amazing, good composition.

Nice effect on the waves. It looks like you lost a little sharpness on the rocks from camera shake, which is a shame, but it's not really that bad. The tones are definitely nice also.
