49 cents a gallonby RN PattiComment: This shot could have been much stronger if the lighting were better. The shot is a bit overexposed and this has washed everything out. I think a bit of cropping would also be helpful. You might be able to get better lighting by playing with the levels, saturation and exposure functions. |

Once, I flewby aznymComment: Nice shot , to me you get the same dramatic use of negative space with cropping a bit off the right and that would allow the reflection to pop out much more which I think would improve the shot. |

Game Playby MudHutComment: staged shots should have good lighting since you have the opportunity to control the light. I don't feel the lighting is strong enough in this shot , the lack of focus in the leading line doesn't appeal to me personally. |

Obsolete-Native American Arrowheads for Huntingby smilebig4me1xComment: Looks like you staged this outside so the lack of good lighting isn't as big a deal but, to me if you are going to stage a shot then you need to STAGE the shot ... bring in additional lighting a macro shot of one arrowhead with a light source on the side would have made for a much more effective shot. |

Left Unsaidby idnicComment: Well staged and a good idea. For studio shots I tend to be very critical of lighting since you control it. In this case I think there is not enough contrast and use of highlighting. The focus seems to be soft on the tip of the middle pen also. |
