This shot could have been much stronger if the lighting were better. The shot is a bit overexposed and this has washed everything out. I think a bit of cropping would also be helpful. You might be able to get better lighting by playing with the levels, saturation and exposure functions.

Nice shot , to me you get the same dramatic use of negative space with cropping a bit off the right and that would allow the reflection to pop out much more which I think would improve the shot.

Excellent composition and nicely staged I would have liked just a bit more light on the headphones. Nicely done.

staged shots should have good lighting since you have the opportunity to control the light. I don't feel the lighting is strong enough in this shot , the lack of focus in the leading line doesn't appeal to me personally.

Looks like you staged this outside so the lack of good lighting isn't as big a deal but, to me if you are going to stage a shot then you need to STAGE the shot ... bring in additional lighting a macro shot of one arrowhead with a light source on the side would have made for a much more effective shot.

Interesting shot but, you buried the main subject is too much stuff, needs to be cropped and highlighted.

It has seen better days ... the lighting is washed out and I would have cropped much more out since they don't add to the subject.

Well staged and a good idea. For studio shots I tend to be very critical of lighting since you control it. In this case I think there is not enough contrast and use of highlighting. The focus seems to be soft on the tip of the middle pen also.

This shot begs for more saturation and better lighting. Love the diagonal composition but, feel you could have taken more off the top. I bet if you shot this under the right lighing conditions it would be stunning.
