 Managed to get out of the apartment and go for a walk after a long time. I was hoping to get shots for both Leading Lines and Obsolete. I couldn't find anything interesting for Leading Lines.

I was watching the ducks in the river and saw the floating feather. Didn't realize I had something for obsolete until I started going through them on the computer.

Nice shot , to me you get the same dramatic use of negative space with cropping a bit off the right and that would allow the reflection to pop out much more which I think would improve the shot.

A very nice shot - I like the contrast and the way that the water is so dark it almost looks like oil - the ripples are great. It's a shame about the white spots floating on the water, but obviously not much you can do about those with basic editing.

Beautiful colours, nice composition and subject. The spots are distracting, though. This picture is very alike the one with the leaf on the car hood (at least I think it's a car hood ;-)

I'm a big fan of this image, although I wish there was a stronger connection to the word obsolete. The title really makes it work. The reflection and th darkness of the water adds a lot of drama. 9.

I see white specs that detract form the feather. basic editing challenges are tough for the inability to clone out specs. beyond that, the composition leaves me cold..not sure why. perhaps it is the positioning of the feather in the space avaiable.

A different take than the others so far. I like the look/feel of the water in this shot. It adds to the sadness of the loss.

I hope the elegance and subtle potential of this image isn't missed by the voting body. Smooth, seductive surface, fragile feather, oily feel of the water broken up by the feather's texturing. This I find poetic, and the titling is apt. 10
