I think the panoramic looks way better. If there was more detail in the sky and clouds, then this would be a great angle, but with a solid blue, it dosn't really add anthing.

I think there really needs to be a greater point of interest in the photo. There is too much haze in the photo, and the train tracks are not prominent enough. When I think of wide angle, I am thinking of a very large, prominent foreground object with a lot of ground after that towards the background, emphasizing the foreground subject. This just doesn't have it.
