Yellowby RikkiComment: as a thumbnail in your thread, this is the one that jumped out at me. looking at the actual image, the sharpness of detail in the flower is just awesome. there are a few petals at the bottom that obstruct the eye of the flower, but the colors are so rich and vibrant, and the composition is just terriffic! i like the bit of shadow in the upper petals, to help their detail pop out at the veiwer. nice job! |

A Window Viewby RikkiComment: i LOVE this one. the composition and framing are just awesome! i keep playing with the picture, scrolling it down so that the upmost reflection is covered, then exposed...i love the color of those windows and like the openess that they add going across the top. those reflections are a bit distracting, though. hmm...
i'd buy this image as a cool, nontraditional postcard for seattle! |

Aged Steelby RikkiComment: great rich colors in the rust and sky. the "band-aid" is a little distracting. i love that half of the sky is clouded (or steamed) and the other half is basically clear. it adds a great energy and composition element to the shot. nice, rich shot. well done! |

Delicate Skinby RikkiComment: hi rikki11,
i have to agree with your thoughts on the neon reflection in your image. i do like the reflection of the support pole in the pic. the lines are crisp and clean, and there's a nice range of color shades...makes me think that this could be a cool architectural detail if done as a b&w. what'cha think? (i know you said you were trying to keep down the post processing...) |

LIGHT ENJOYMENTby ernaComment: nice soft b&w tones. like the effect of the light through the blinds. the coffee cup seems to disappear against the blinds, imo. i would be interested in seeing this image with a cup or mug that has stronger visual impact that can hold its own against those blinds. |

coffeeby melodeeComment: i like the coffee sign amd the chocolate o'hara sign. i would be interested in seeing how these elements could be featured more prominently in the picture...by picking one sign to focus on, showing a tighter shot of the crowd, interesting angle for the shot, etc. |

and a Slice of Cake please!by biggood53Comment: mmm...cake...
i would be interested in seeing how this image would look with softer spot lighting, to emphasize all the lovely colors and detail in the cake. |
