Celebrate Nature! (and the end of Deer Hunting Season)by Art RoflmaoComment: okay, you and i are probably getting faulted for the same thing...the title is what makes the picture qualify for the challenge, and not the picture itself. but hey, that's life, right? now for the pic. i think it's beautiful. i like the dof, i love the palate of colors. i like how the doe's leg is picked up just a bit, and how she's looking into the camera. there's even light in her eyes, so that's cool too. a nicely composed shot that makes me feel happy to know that this doe gets to exist in peace for one more year! |

Happy Halloweenby joezlComment: the pumpkins look ready for watching some football! : )
i would be interested in seeing how this photo would look with deeper orange tones...the lighting/reflection of the pumpkin skins makes them appear to be a bit washed out. i also wonder how this shot could be framed to add more energy and visual interest...perhaps taken at an angle to cary the pumpkin line 2/3rds of the way across the image field? |

Blue Angelsby blancericComment: the orange looks oversaturated...to the point of being distracting, in my eye. with the grey sky, i wonder how this picture would have looked as a b&w? |

Sox Win!!!by rayg544Comment: hilarious! the poor guy had to wait for so long... ; )
fun photo, nice crop and composition, i would almost like to see sharper b&w in the saturation, to pull out greater detail and definition in the image (e.g. leaves & model's hair against background) but this is a nice happy fun photo. hope those sox keep spanking the yanks! |

109,839 Strongby MaverickComment: cool shot, with lots of groovy faces and emotions. it would have been so much more powerful had that guy in the center not looked into the camera when you took it...dang! you can feel the celebration just looking at this photo, though! fun, like the graininess to the photo--makes it feel like a newspaper pic. does the title refer to the size of the audience? |

I Found The Biggest One!by Faye PekasComment: great picture composition and background. the model's expression is awesome, and that certainly is a whopper of a pumpkin! the lighting (particularly in the face) feels a bit overexposed, which washes him out and weakens the photo. i would love to see this photo edited to tone the brightness down just a bit...it's such a great shot! |

35 years - still going strong!by RiponladyComment: 35 years is certainly something to celebrate! such a sweet couple, but i wish i could see more of his face. the image also appears a bit fuzzy in the faces...
i would be interested to see how this picture looks with a darker background and tighter/closer composition to really highlight the love and joy in their faces. |
