Antigua3by GBrummettComment: I love this! It is oustanding. I love what you have done with this photo. The textures and tones add a vintage feel to the image and I love the fact that the door is open...it creates a little mystery to the photo. Her placement in the picture could not be better. You have singled her out but you did not ignore or make the background less important. Outstanding!! |

New Fashion Trend - Forkliftsby ColeyComment: I had to come back and comment on this one! I gave you a 10 and picked this as a fav. I am going to tell you why. I think that this is soooooo good. I was surpised that it did not ribbon. Who would have thought to do that? Who would have thought to use forks as shoes? You are a genius! I applaud your creativity. This shot is VERY well composed and thought out. The toe rings and other feet adornments are wonderful. Her toes could have been painted a little neater though. LOL I really really love this photograph. I wish that I would have thought of this. I think that the quality of the photograph is superb as well....you ROCK!! |

I really liked this one. It is orginal, creative and abstract. Very daring..I must say! Congrats to you! Your score should have been higher IMO, but not everyone likes abstract, and that too bad. But I do!! I love the high contrast and how there is a hint of blue here and there. It would have been so cool if you would have had a sunset or just the colors of a sunset in the fork! Wouldn't that have been neat? I think that the diagonal compostion is fab! The only thing that I would have liked to have seen was more of the fork teeth. Great job...and good luck in future challenges.

Christmas Timeby xuan768Comment: *Critique Club*
Your idea is very creative, but it would have been better for me if they looked like they were hanging. For me this looks like you were holding up the flatware and then rotated the picture so they appear to be upside down. The spoon being cropped off is not a appealing composition. I like the green of the tree and the gold ribbon...very nice touch. When photographing something so reflective, you really have to watch for well...reflections! If you WANT reflections, make sure that it adds to the overall image and doesn't take away or distract the viewer, if you don't want them...use whatever means to block your reflective surface with paper, posterboard...I have used a plate before, even a sheet will work. The color seems a little flat too. This may have been the look you were going for, but the colors of the photograph blend together, would have made more of a statement if something had POP to it. Your white balance is off some, but sometimes I do this on purpose and you may have to for a certain look. Just wanted to let you know that I noticed it. Good luck in future challenges.

Three Spoons with Vasesby banmornComment: *Critique Club*
I loved this! It was so different. The colors are so energetic and vibrant. I really like how this is composed. There is something visually exciting going on throughout the picture, but it isn't too busy. The name or word on one of the vases probably should have been removed, but you were probably so occupied with trying not to get hot spots that you didn't even notice, or maybe you wanted to keep it there. The one thing that I notice is that the picture seems a little too dark. This could be my monitor though. Great picture...congrats.

Very nice!!! Love the blue..what a great touch. The fork and knife are reflective and shiny with no hot spots...another plus. I like this image very much. Should have scored higher IMO. I liked the way you cropped it as well....it leads your eye from one corner to the other nicely. Great job!!
