I had no idea what to do for this. I had spoons, a knife and fork, all relatively new so they had some sheen so I wanted to do a reflection study of some sort. I also have about 50 vases and several of them are colored glass. I went with an RGB theme and used a large red vase, a small blue vase and a green olive oil bottle. I placed them on top of a black speaker with some white paper under them. I put one spoon in the small, round blue vase and the other two in front of the three vases. Shot in ambient light in the morning...about 08:30 AM.
I tried several variations of this. Most without the white paper and with 1 spoon, 2 spoons, 2 spoons, a knife and fork, and other positioning of the 3 spoons in this. A lot of the attempts were OK but this was the best with no major blowouts and no reflections of me or the camera (I did practically a whole 256 mb card in one session and did not realize I was in the reflections until later....ooy!).
Now I know it is a bit abstract and I sure know how you all love abstracts....man you just cannot get enought of them. LOL! ROFLMAO! But this is not tooo abstract I hope.

Post:
Layer adjustments for levels, hue/saturation and brightness contrast. USM. Did a very small amount of burning one area that look muddy and bit of cloning of a few bright spots and healing of some dust and hot pixels. Crop. Resize. USM.

I loved this! It was so different. The colors are so energetic and vibrant. I really like how this is composed. There is something visually exciting going on throughout the picture, but it isn't too busy. The name or word on one of the vases probably should have been removed, but you were probably so occupied with trying not to get hot spots that you didn't even notice, or maybe you wanted to keep it there. The one thing that I notice is that the picture seems a little too dark. This could be my monitor though. Great picture...congrats.

The letters above the left spoon disturb me.

Too much chaos, I can't really focus my eyes on something interesting in the photo.

A superb and strong colorful display. The red swirls are truly attractive. A very nice composition.

Beautiful colors here, nice clear image. It has a sense of abstract to it.
