Wonderful edit. Inviting, beautiful softness. An excellent presentation - utilizing a repeating out of sync film projector frame flutter technique.

If it is low to the ground, may be Jack in the Pulpit (Arisaema triphyllum)

I agree the most difficult bloom to photograph. "marvelous rose bush..." - this description is cautious. Beautiful.

Pretty..... I can't tell what it is either. I was thinking it might be Mallow (Malva Alcea) or pink Cosmo, but the petals don't seem right.

I have these too, they are fading though, not enough fertilizer - a very tough colour to get right, in these petunias, good work. I like the inclusion of the dead heads.

Spiderwort
(Commelinaceae)
Tradescantia Occidentalis
Also called: Widows Tears
I would be lucky to find any of these blooming in the wild at this time in my area, they usually bloom a bit earlier than August, however they are also cultivated in some gardens, which sometimes can prolong them. Some variation of colour can sometimes be evident - they can be a lighter blue or white. This is an excellent flower, I find them in dry hillsides & near RR tracks.
