Teacher's back to the camera is a bit awkward, but still is understandable to the title of taking down the "last bulletin". Picture content articulates an end of school event well. Colour edit and grain contribute very well to this excellent image. Undoubtedly underrated.

the intended nostalgic soft-focus edit I think is successful. The complex crosshatch detail, as viewed from this distance remains somewhat intact, you have made the overlay lines merge in a interesting way. The structure engages the eye, it keeps the ordered design but without a architectural precision. More contrast would probably tend to emphasize negative space, and more accuracy but at the expense of the quiet lighting and atmosphere that is shown.
