Branching Out into Manhoodby iamkmaniamComment: Love the idea. I wish it could have been a bit brighter, but I understand that with a long exposure it can be difficult to get it just right. |

Metal Green Woodlandby La VistaComment: I love that you found a non-tree branch that actually looks like a tree branch. Architecture that looks like nature? The slight green color cast is perfect and reminiscent of trees. And the soft focus works really well for me. 10. |

The Brooding Perchby CutterComment: This is an amazing pose for the bird (vulture?). I love that the head is down and the face is hidden. I wish there was a little more detail in the head and feathers. The image looks a little underexposed. Something about the colors seems a little off, maybe a little yellow or green? I can't quite tell, but overall the shot is wonderful. 10. |

Peacock "branches"by lifeComment: Nice idea, I really like the unusual "branches". The black feathers at the bottom are a little distracting visually. Beautiful composition. 9. |

Nightlightby RulerZigzagComment: I think this is a great shot as is. I agree with others that burning/darkening the bright spots on the tree (and maybe also the bright wall on the lighthouse) would help overall. I also think pushing the sky a little darker, or maybe more toward dark blue and less purple, might give the whole photo more depth. Beautiful work already! |

Another Worldby rwaudioComment: I love the colors in this composition. The texture of the white is also beautiful to look at. Very nice. |

Reach for the Skyby MattBComment: What a strange landscape. I really like the use of black and white for this picture. It makes the scene even more unreal. |

Wild Woodby jrjrComment: Very dramatic branch to photograph. The tilt to the horizon is distracting to me, but can be easily fixed. I also might have liked to have more space at the top of the image so we can see the ends of the branches and they don't get cropped off. |

We're Not In Kansas Anymoreby mesmerajComment: Great entry for this challenge. Although the stark white background is too standard for such a great photo. I've taken a look at your portfolio and you have some great work and some things that make me laugh out loud (like the 1983 photo). Congratulations. |

Dead Woodby HattieComment: I love this craggy tree. Great subject. The grass looks very yellow and it is a little tough on my eyes. Maybe you could tone down the yellow. Really well suited to this challenge. 9. |
