Entertainment Tonightby floydComment: Excellent idea and cool reflective photo. At work (I'm a nurse), I was showing the pictures from the challenge to my co-workers. My fellow nurses all commented about how edematous the person's arm was and that it should be looked at by a doctor. I had to laugh because that was before they realized that it was caused by distortion of the reflection in the TV screen. LOL Just thought I would share that with you. |

Stone Roseby myqylComment: What a lovely effect!! Assuming that I'm right and that the reflective surface is a marble countertop, including a vein in the corner of the picture was very nice. I understand and appreciate the placement of the leaves, however I can't help but wonder what it would look like if they were "attached" to the reflection of the rose stem. Just a thought. Congrats on the photo and good luck in the challange. 10 |

Greetings from Pittsburghby alanfreedComment: Are you sure that this isn't a scanned picture from a postcard? It could be, you know. Very impressive! I like the reflections in the water. |

The Darkness of Depressionby nbortonComment: This photo is very thought provoking. I like your use of the negative space. With the rumpled look of the bed, to me, it appears that there is another person under the covers and he's leaning up against he/she. Thus, possibly that person being the reason for his distress. The only thing I had problem with was the shadow. Very good...I really like it. |

Bachelorby ClubJuggleComment: I got a good chuckle. Thanks! However, I don't know if a bachlor would have such a clean fridge. Regardless, it is a good shot - 9 |

Froggy Morningby GotchaComment: This is the first photo that came up on my screen to vote on and I've been looking at it for a long time, especially since there has been a lot of discussion concerning the defination of negative space. Definately lots of negative space. The fog gives it a moody effect. But for some reason, the birds (your positive) doesn't seem to relate to the negative. I don't really know if this is necessary. My mind wants to put a lonely boat in the middle of the water/fog. I gave it a 9 for making me think too hard. :-) |

A shade of negitiveby justineComment: This one actually made me say "WOW" when it popped up on my screen. Very good shot. There has been a lot of talk about what the negative space is supposed to do in this challenge, but I think it all blends nicely in this picture. In my favorites and a 10 for you. I think this should win....good luck |
