Very nice take on the challenge. I really liked your idea to back light your subjects. I like the paperclip flower, but couldn't figure out what the rest was. I suppose that's a tape despenser, but where's the tape? Well focused 7

You had a real unique idea here. I do think, however, the paperclips could have been place a little better. I don't really have any quick ideas to offer, but it just doesn't seem to appeal to me. Could have done without the diagonal line I think. Otherwise you focus is good.

Very good idea! The place where I buy gas tapes plastic spoons to his pens so no one will run off with them. I admit that I'm a klepto at times. I like your lighting in this picture and nice detail, especially of the pen cup and pink rose. It could be my monitor but it's hard to see the red rose. 7 Good luck in the challenge.

Really nice drop photo. I love the colors that you used. At first I was thinking outer space, but the royal purple and the shape of the drop really coorelates with your title. Very fitting. Unique take on a used technique.

Very nice take on the challenge. I like the color of the nail polish and the glitter effect. That gold strip along the bottom of your background is really going to kill you. I like the background above that, however. It contrasts nicely with your subject.

Very nice effect, however the background is a little too busy. I also would have cropped a little more from the bottom and right edge. I love the color of the liquid and the tiny bubbles. This really has a lava light feel.

I really like the lighting and the colors (or lack there of) in here. Nice placement of your subject. Also, the bubbling wax makes for nice effect and reflection. The blue background fading to white is nice and dreamy. Very nice take on the challenge. One of my favorites for this challenge and I hope you get a ribbon. 10

Very neat idea. I really like the shapes and the colors. They are vivid and stand out nicely. I'm just not really crazy about the yellow border. It seems to distract from the patterns of the colors in the picture. Perhaps a darker color would have been better. 8 Good luck in the challenge.
