very nice shot. no suggestions because i don't know what could have been done to make the sky look a little bit less washed out (especially w/o making the green look too dark) |

Sunset at The Lakeby jeremycoleComment: for these types of shots if you lower the light (gamma) and boost the color (saturation) you can sometimes really bring out the light orange in the clouds. also, you might have cropped out much of the sky above and made it more of a panoramic shot; that would have worked well. |

Scottish Rose (a simple Thistle)by illicit_commentComment: and do scottish girls get a dozen of these for valentine's day?
not necessarily the best flower to pick for a color competition, nor the strongest shot you could take of it - the colors seem a bit dull and the main part (whatever it's called) of the 'flower' is a little dark. |
