Going Downhill Fastby e301Comment: Great toning and interesting composition, but I think that I would have lest the man out of the frame. His direction of travel really leads the viewer right out of the frame with anticipation of his next step. |

A Failed Environmentby shamelComment: I like the idea, and I think that you meet the challenge, but there really isn't enough emphasis on the sign. I think a tighter composition with a more shallow depth of field would help direct the viewer more toward the warning, while still seeing a blurred environment in the background. |

broken dream...by LlamboComment: I can definitely see failure here. Great expression and a very nice capture. I am not a big fan of the noise in this one, and I would like to see the rest of his right elbow. I think that chopping it off leads the eye right out of the frame. |

Dirty Failureby robshookphotoComment: Cool portrait with interesting composition, but I don't get a sense of failure. I like the tight composition and the grainy feel of the image. I see more of a disgust look than one of failure. |

Desolate by davidus428Comment: While I am a bi fan of sepia toning, I think that it really hurts this capture. By converting to sepia, some of your details blend together and get lost here. Great composition and I like the moody feeling, but I get more of a sense of pain and loneliness than failure. |

Developmental Failureby cyanComment: Well seen and I like the tight composition here. I also like the way the leg looks like an arm painfully trying to push itself up. I think that the lighting could have been a little better. The shadow on the left is somewhat distracting. |

Natural Failure; Frozen Mayby KrisbyComment: It is really hard to tell what your subject is here and where exactly the failure is. It looks like your shutter speed was low and the shot was handheld, giving the entire photograph some blur. I do like the flowing composition, but I can't isolate the failure. |

...to aimby stare_at_the_sunComment: This one is somewhat disgusting, but very creative. Nice depth of field and great lighting, but I don't get a real sense of failure. |

DeNestedby Bernard_MarxComment: Nice conveyance of failure, but the focus seems to be off just a little. It looks like the grass is more in focus that the dead bird. Nice capture and pretty good composition. I would like to see the rest of that toe at the bottom of the frame. |

Parchedby dahvedComment: Your lighting looks a little flat and I think seeing more of his face would be helpful. I think you convey a feeling that meets the challenge well. |
