The fence line is distracting as well. The colors are ok, the light is flat, texture is ok, comp sucks, dof good...

...come on mom, this is your son. Ya want to show him off don't ya, well, do so next time.

First of all, when I think of sports, I think of humans.

Even if an animal is included, there should be a human.

Secondly, this comp sucks. I can care less for the rear end of an animal. The far left tail could of been at the very least cleaned up and cropped out. the color is ok, image could be crisper, light is flat, texture ok.

Don't give up, just do better.

this is a well executed sports shot.

great comp, great color, great lighting, excellent capture, great emotional value, the only thing I can say is that is bad of this image is two things. The advertising, and not enough shallow DoF. After all, it is about the player and not the ads or the fans.

The comp is good, but a tighter crop is what is needed. The left of the pitcher. color great, fence line chopping through pitcher undesirable, light flat but expected for this type of sport, great capture, nice movement, excellent emotional value, nice texture, blacks seem just a bit deep, whites are just ok, overall a great attempt

Comp ok, light ok, made the rule of 6 for sports, emotional factor could be more heightened by seeing the runner or the catchers face, good stop action, nice movement, great lines, tonal value just on the edge, the whites are barely in, the blacks seem a bit deep, texture needs work, overall a good attempt
