Irresistableby zenelfComment: I love the rich colors of the apple in your photo and the sense of very sharp areas combined with soft edges. The greenness of the stem looks a little oddly colored to me, but all in all a stunning photo! Cutey!! |

Alternate Realitiesby beamsclanComment: What a powerful photo you've created, highlighting the issue of poverty. Your composition juxtaposes the French chocolates and the mother with her children perfectly. I think rotating the photo slightly clockwise and then cropping it so that it was parallel to the frame of the picture would be my only suggestion for change. 10 |

Odd cat outby ergoComment: This is a great photograph with a story to tell! The doorway frames the white cat very strongly. The red background is so powerful and serves to enhance the tense atmosphere. The 2 mafia cats seen only from the back bring a sinister feel to the picture. But it's funny all at the same time. I love it! |

Up looking downby jjbeguinComment: This is an amazing photograph! There are so many lines that could be competing with each other, but instead they frame the people so perfectly, and make a statement about the smallness of humanity within all of this technology we have. A classic!

Waiting for The Winds (Sailing Tacks)by BudComment: I don't know anything about sailing tacks, but what does it matter - this shot is gorgeous. The various colors of blue blend so beautifully together, with the red adding a lovely touch of contrast. The composition with the boat cutting through the frame from the right is very nice and the chain leading into the water is a beautiful detail that helps to keep the viewer's eyes within the picture. Very nice! 9 |

Spike a Drink by TranquilComment: Despite the fact that I'm getting a bit tired of seeing photos of glasses of various colors of water, I do think this is a stunning photo. The green is such a strong green, like green Jello and the composition of showing only a portion of the glass and placing it to one side adds to the photo's strengh. The tack cutting through the water doesn't really make sense, logically, but who cares, it creates a focal point that is powerful in its movement into the water. The splash created is gorgeous. Great job! 9 |

Fortress around your Mind by arnitComment: I don't get the story behind this picture but maybe that doesn't matter; it's a very strong photo, nevertheless. I love the contrast of the pale-skinned woman(Gwyneth Paltrow?) against the orangey-red background. Having her in the corner of the photo is great, makes the tacks against her skin stand out. Also, her blue eye looks bluer due to the blue tacks in the picture. One distracting element, I think, is her earring. But otherwise a great shot. 9 |

Sweet Dreamsby myceliumComment: The lighting and color of this photo is really lovely, and would be very effective as a commercial product photo. The blue highlights picked up by the foreground tacks and the white highlights in the background tacks really add to the strength of the photo. Great job! |

Confused Mother by PanoComment: Great idea with the mirror. I like the strength of the colors, especially the yellow and blue. Cute concept. |

Strawberryby ladpupmoeComment: The simplicity of your subject choice is nice and the color of the strawberry makes it look very tasty. I think, though, that trying out different kinds of lighting might enhance the gorgeousness of the strawberry. The flash casts shadows that aren't particularly complimentary as well as a bit of a glare. |
